When is this President going to come to the conclusion that he is just not up to the job of being President? When is he going to come to the conclusion that he is unfit for the job as President? One of the world’s political and supposed business icons, Phil Donahue, noted some time ago during Hannity’s America, on the Fox News channel, for the umpteenth time, that capitalism is based on greed. Don’t you just love it when people escalate the rhetoric without any notion of due diligence? Adam Smith, when he talked about the invisible hand, was not referring in any way to those who might care to blatantly or even accidentally engage in behaviors that are questionable at the very least and unlawful at worst. Last night I attending a meeting presented by the local city’s fathers. The Mayor, Council and various others were in attendance to provide an update as to various projects, etc. that are being undertaken by the city. There were also some interesting revelations brought out by some of the citizens/business owners in attendance. ………Regardless the community, with very few exceptions, they should learn to be business friendly. In my state, WA, part of a businesses taxes, that they collect, go back to the community / county where they are located. Short sighted (myopic) communities can actually drive entrepreneurs to another community or into the unincorporated areas. They need to look carefully at the person(s) involved, the business model and what the intended business might actually bring to the community as a source of additional revenue.
