I am astounded by the veracity of Brian Burnett’s claims. As I have mentioned previously, he is nothing more than a disgruntled employee in my view. He has interjected his friends, from the East Wenatchee/Douglas County side into our race. He can do that but whose interests does he purport to serve? We pay the taxes in Chelan County for our law enforcement; not those across the river. I am wondering why so many have turned so suddenly on our current Sheriff. Later this fall your November Ballot will include at least 5 of these six ballot initiatives for the voting public to vote on. The sixth of the initiatives is for residents of King County only. Initiatives are very important within this state. Many times interest groups are lurking in the bushes hoping to pull one over on the unsuspecting public. At a later time I will blog about some of those disastrous initiatives that have cost the taxpayers millions, if not billions of dollars over time. A hearty thanks to Chuck Perry, one of Charter Communications’ top flight technicians. Problems were detected with our Charter service (I have the total package, internet, TV and phone). On his service call he checked all of our connections and replaced a few wires that did not provide adequate shielding, as per the advances in new technologies that have been recently added. Just a few days ago I received an interesting piece of what some may consider junk mail. It came from a company by the name of WildBlue. WildBlue bills itself as selling satellite high speed internet. I am not sure how many of the zip code areas in the greater county this service is available but I suspect that some of our more rural areas would be prime targeted areas for a company such as this. Personally, I get great internet service from my cable provider, Charter, as part of a larger package of services (TV, Internet and Phone). Read the rest…

Politically, you can call yourself anything that you want. I call myself a Conservative. On the other hand, I have written extensively so that others may see what my core political beliefs happen to be. I am prone to vote Republican almost 100% of the time and when I have an objection to a candidate, I usually choose not to vote in that particular race. Any number of times, at the local level, I have stayed out of a race because I found both candidates to be sorely lacking with respect to acceptable credentials. Read the rest…
