……….Both the Truthers and the Birthers are completely off base. We now have to contend with a group that I am calling the Heaters. The Heaters use the internet like a drunk uses cheap whiskey. The Heaters use the left wing propaganda machine to help prop up their weak message of global warming. In some of the local papers the Heaters concentrate their efforts to propagandize about this notion that man is responsible, more so than nature, for any climate change that may have been measured over the past one hundred fifty years. They go to websites like Media Matters, The Daily Kos and The Huffington Post to receive what should be viewed as their marching orders.

……….Locally the Heaters are using unedited websites and other nefarious sources to spread their lies and deceit. One letter talks about loose correlations. Correlations are what they are, they are based on the data collected. If the data is incorrect then you should base your argument on that fact. Was the data collected incorrectly? Was the measurement flawed? or was their some other reason for the data being reported to be called into question? I am stunned that these Heaters would choose not to reveal the fact that information claiming the Himalayan glaciers were melting was finally reported as being false.

……….In true Obama fashion, we don’t need to let a few grumbling facts get into the way of sensible progress. When the Heaters disagree they merely concoct some silly half baked argument that does not hold water in any court. They attempt to shout down the other side of the argument.
