………Today, beaming from cheek to cheek, Harry Reid came out to face cameras. He was championing the Health Care bill that the Senate may soon begin to consider. He was obviously pleased with the CBO numbers and ready to spin this silly bit of potential legislation for all it was worth. In the end, his counterparts in the most liberal regions of the Senate were like blushing brides.

………As some Senate Democrats were seeking to have their sound bites heard, they were all very well prompted. They all used short succinct buzzwords, much in the manner of some college students. By using these terms, it seems so reasonable, this 2000 plus page bill. However, the devil in these details is that they do not want to talk specifics and they definitely are not keen on answering tough questions.

………Case in point, Senator Amy Klobuchar (D,MN) was stopped for a comment in the hall and was gushing beyond belief. She quickly blurted out her buzzwords and went on her merry way. The idea of doing this is so juvenile but works so well on an unsuspecting public. What kind of a person would actually behave in such a manner? Addressing the public in such a cavalier and wantonly dishonest manner? What would prompt someone, supposedly intelligent, to play so fast and loose with the facts?

………I just don’t get it! They are going to destroy the health care that so many enjoy and will not really provide any meaningful care for those currently insured. We need to tackle a number of issues immediately that address some very pressing problems. In fact, one of the most serious issues, legal reforms, was never even on the table. This is huge boon to the trial lawyers. They will remain a privileged group as their bogus lawsuits will continue to go forward, with no possibility of a logical challenge. The John & Elizabeth Edwards wing of theft by lawsuit will continue to grow and prosper. This whole process has been a huge boon for the likes of President Obama’s cronies.

………Things are just going to continue as before but to an even greater extent. We end up losing 17% of our economy to the federal government. They cannot even control such things as Medicare, Medicaid, our borders or so many other areas of our country. Yet, any number of you will be willing to simply sit back and allow them to put further pressure on our already devastated economy. This one lesson that we might not be able to recover from. We are a resilient people but with the loons now in charge, we are no longer able to simply reverse our fortunes and right the ship. I hope that some of you have a serious epiphany before it’s too late.
