……….Blow hard Barack Obama, President of the United States, was in PA today, once again attempting to gain some traction on his senseless health care proposal. He continues to make claims, promises and to raise objections targeting more conservative members of Congress. He continues to promise that the bill that Congress will eventually vote on has all of the bells and whistles that the public really wants. The underlying problem is that this President has continually lied previously. He has most assuredly shown that his word is mightily flawed in the eyes of the general public. He continues to press forward, demonstrating his resolve with little or no evidence that his words are tied to any semblance of truthfulness. Read the rest of this entry »

……….What is an Obamamentarian, you might ask? The Senate has a position called the Parliamentarian. It is the duty of the Senate Parliamentarian to answer questions that may come up during those times that the Senate is in session. The Senate Parliamentarian is the authority on parliamentary procedure. This becomes important if the Democrats attempt to use reconciliation to pass some form of healthcare reform. With the Senate and the reconciliation process, Joe Biden could easily assume his role as President of the Senate. As President of the Senate, Biden would have the ability to override decisions made by the Senate Parliamentarian. Read the rest of this entry »

……….At times one might think that this diminutive Senator might actually be the offspring of Karl Marx and at other times you might be inclined to believe that she is more closely related to Groucho Marx. In any even, politically, she is an anachronism. She is not particularly bright. She is perhaps the mostly managed politician in Congress. Her gaffes are legendary and her command of the facts embarrassing. Patty Marx-Murray is completing her third term in the U.S. Senate and faces an election battle this coming fall. Patty Murray is in the top 5 leadership of the Senate but yet she rarely speaks. Read the rest of this entry »

My letter spells out some of the basic facts that you can actually see for yourself. You can check out my blog entitled, “Some Telling Information, Fiscal Irresponsibility at Our Local Chelan County PUD..Share With A Friend.” Read the rest of this entry »

……….Tomorrow, at Blair House, across from the White House, The President will meet with Congressional Leaders, for six hours, to discuss health care. Considering the President’s latest ramblings, he may actually attempt to be seen as much more conservative figure, before the rolling cameras. I love the President when he appears in schizophrenic mode. For those of you who refuse to pay attention, you are never able to see the remarkably different sides of this man. Tomorrow he will contradict much of what he has said or implied previously. He will do this as he plays for the cameras. He will actually sound reasonable and concerned at times. However, if like me, you have paid attention to this yodeling screwball, you will hardly believe your ears. In fact, today the tape caught him proclaiming that he, in fact, is an ardent supporter of free enterprise. Wow, that was a statement that nearly floored me. Read the rest of this entry »

……….The President along with his sidekick, Eric Holder, U.S. Attorney General, are perhaps headed to a showdown in Congress and then the courts. New York City leaders are rightfully concerned that this President is determined to handle terrorist cases in our federal court system, rather than use the more appropriate military tribunals. When we consider the cost, up to $200 million per year, the danger from potential terrorists and other mitigating factors, these fools are asking for trouble. Read the rest of this entry »

……….The Senate race to fill the open seat left by former Massachusetts Senator Ted Kennedy’s death is looking to be a horse race, according to some very recent polls. The actual election will take place Tuesday, January 19. Martha Coakley the Democrat took an early lead over challenger Scott Brown. Initially Coakley bolted out to a 30 point lead in the polls. As Massachusetts voters have familiarized themselves with Brown, his support has been building steadily in recent days. Read the rest of this entry »

………A letter was sent to President Obama last week chiding him and his administration for opening an investigation into the practices of CIA interrogators during the Bush Administration. At first the President made the excuse that this investigation was within the realm of Holder’s responsibility and not sanctioned by the President. If you believe that this President lets anything outside his span of control you need more assistance than this blogger is able to offer. Read the rest of this entry »

………Tonight, the President will deliver his 262nd speech in his first 231 days in office. That might give some of us the idea that he honestly believes he can talk us to death. Eventually he will get the idea that he won the election and with that comes the expectation that he will lead, not talk. The President and his Administration are looking to rush healthcare through the Congress for a reason. My guess is because the President is looking for complete governmental control of the system. Other than that, he really only cares about protecting his core constituencies; labor, trial lawyers and left wing activists. Read the rest of this entry »

………If you want to see what has happened to this country in the past decades you might want to go to http://defeatthedebt.com/ and check out the facts as they pertain to the senseless Congressional acts of deficit spending. In short order our federal government spends over $500 million per day paying only the interest on our national debt. That amount of spending, in no way, includes even one penny earmarked for the reduction of our debt. As we spend such enormous amounts of money, the debt continues to spiral out of control thanks to members on both sides of the aisle. Read the rest of this entry »
